How can it be that after thousands of years of death, dying and loss, we
have no more wisdom about how to handle it than we did when the very
first cave man fell off a cliff?
Are we really no more prepared now than that first family was about what
to say, how to go forward, and what to do next?
“Sorry for your loss.”
That’s all we have? We had that on day one. Haven’t
we had thousands of years to work on this?
